Full Itinerary
DAY 1 - KUALA LUMPUR - CAMERON HIGHLANDS (L)
- Today, we will depart from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands with en-route visit to Batu Caves. Batu Caves is a towering limestone outcropping just 13 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur. The caves house numerous Hindu shrines and is a famous landmark in Kuala Lumpur. It is the shrine of Lord Murugan, a Hindu deity - a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave
- Lunch at Tapah Town (local cuisine)
- Over next stop will be the Iskandar Waterfall and aborigine’s settlements (en-route stop and view the Orang Asli Village from the main stream).
- Cameron Highlands located at 1542 meters above sea level and famous for its tea plantation and cool temperature. The cool climate makes it an excellent tea growing area and indeed the Cameron tea is highly priced in the world. Upon arrival in Cameron Highlands, start Half Day Cameron Highlands Tours. Transfer to hotel, check-in hotel, rest & relax. Overnight at Strawberry Park Resort (Deluxe room).

- Boh Tea Plantation, Butterfly farm, Rose Valley, Cactus Valley and Strawberry Farm.
- Remarks: Boh Tea Factory is closed on Mondays.
- Rest of the evening free at leisure
DAY 2- CAMERON HIGHLANDS - PENANG (B/L) (STOPS: IPOH / KUALA KANGSAR / ORANG UTAN ISLAND )
- Breakfast is served at the resort. Today,we will depart to Penang with drive towards to Ipoh with en- route stop will be made at Kuala Kangsar, brief stop at Ipoh Railway Station, Ubudiah Mosque & Orang Utan Island
- UBUDIAH MOSQUE This grand gold-domed construction was commissioned by Perak’s 28th Sultan, Idris Shah, after his recovery from illness. Masjid Ubudiah was masterminded by AB Hubback, the architect behind a number of Perak’s colonial buildings. Marble imported from Italy adds bands of mauve to this bright white building. When works began in 1913, two fighting elephants damaged the marble, leading to a construction slowdown. The mosque was eventually completed in 1917. The sultan didn’t live to see Masjid Ubudiah finished. Visitorsare admitted, provided they are modestly dressed. Even if you don't step inside, it's well worth strolling through the grounds to admire the exterior.
- IPOH RAILWAY STATION is one of the 3 big stations built by the British and is one of the city’s most iconic structures. The station was initially meant to be a hospital and used before the 20th century as such before being turned into a station. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback, the station was used as a shooting location for the film Anna and the King, starring Jodie Foster.
- ORANG UTAN ISLAND - Tucked away on the 35-acre Orang Utan Island is the world's first and only 5-acre rehabilitation and preservation facility where Orang Utans roam free. The unique island serves as a breeding sanctuary as well as conservation, research and education center to better understand this endangered species. There is a boat service that ferries people to and from the Island. At the island, you will be taken through a 100-meter steel walkthrough 'cage tunnel' to come up close and personal with these primates. In a twist, you will be enclosed in a 'cage' as you observe the Orang Utans roaming free in their natural habitats. We then continue our journey to Penang.
- Penang - Widely known as the Pearl of the Orient is one of the Asia’s most famous islands. Its natural beauty and exotic heritage have been attracting curious visitors for centuries. Today, Penang is very much an amalgam of the old and the new - a bustling port, a heritage city and an industrial base.
- Check-in hotel, rest of the day free at leisure on own arrangement. Overnight at Cititel Hotel in George town, Penang.
DAY 3 - PENANG (B / L)
- Breakfast is served at the hotel. Today, we will depart to Half Day Historical Georgetown Tour.
Highlights:
- Georgetown, named after King George III of England, has one of the largest colonial buildings in South East Asia.
- First stop, Fort Cornwallis built in 1808 by the British East India Company. It is also marks the spot where Sir Francis Light landed on Penang.
- Next Chew Jetty or ‘She Chew Kew’ the biggest waterfront settlement or ‘houses on stilts’ created by Chinese immigrant in the mid-19th century.
- Drive through Street of Harmony, which houses the Anglican Church, Kuan Yin Chinese temple, Mahamariaman Indian temple and the Kapitan Kling mosque.
- Next The State Museum, built in 1821, houses a fine collection of old photographs, maps, charts and other historical relics.
Stop for lunch (local cuisine)
- Tour ends with a visit to Wat Chayamangkalaram, a Thai temple which houses a 108ft long Reclining Buddha. Directly opposite is the Dhammikarama Burmese temple which houses a magnificent 8.2-meter high image of Lord Buddha
- Notes: State museum will be closed on every Friday. Other attraction places will be replaced
- After tour, transfer back to hotel. Overnight at Cititel hotel, Georgetown Penang.
DAY 4 - PENANG - KUALA LUMPUR (B)
- After breakfast & check out hotel, then transfer to Kuala Lumpur.
- On the way stop for lunch (local cuisine)
- Tour ends upon arrival Kuala Lumpur hotel.
