A private tour to >Kuala Gandah Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary is a rare and fantastic opportunity to get up close to endemic Malaysian elephants. This truly unique Elephant Orphanage will give you an opportunity to learn about these displaced gentle giants. Families that are traveling with kids should not miss this visit. Kids will forever fall in love with elephants after they experience the close interaction at the sanctuary.Visitors can assist in bathing and feeding them.

For the brave and adventurous, there are opportunities to take the elephants down to the river and help give them a bath! There really is no better opportunity than this to get in touch with these grey giants. It is estimated that there are only 1,200 wild Asian Elephants, also known as Elephus Maximus, left in Malaysia and this is the only conservation center set up to relocate these displaced pachyderms.

The elephants here have been rescued from all over Peninsula Malaysia, providing them a safe sanctuary in the wild.


9.30am - Complementary pick up service from your hotel in KL.

10.00am -En-route, we will stop at Batu Caves which is a limestone outcrop. It is an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Selangor. It is also a site of a Hindu temple and shrine. Batu Caves attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. It has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.Dress code to Batu Caves - No short skirt or short pants (hot pants)

1145 hours- Arrival at Karak town for lunch (local cuisine) will be served and drive through Rubber / Palm oil plantations and Malay Traditional House.

13.00pm - upon arriving at the sanctuary we will first watch a 30 minute documentary showing translocation of wild elephants to their new habitat.

1415pm -Enjoy feeding the elephants with watermelon, sugarcane and some other fruits. If weather and river water level permits you can participate in the bathing and grooming these elephants. This will only be notified once guest arrive at the park itself.

Bring along a set of dry clothes, towel and a plastic bag to carry wet clothes.

3.30pm - Depart Kuala Gandah to Kuala Lumpur with some amazing experience you will remember in your life time.

5.30pm - Arrival hotel.
